Dianne-TX
I've always used IE and have always had issues with it freezing up on me and just not acting properly consistently. My mother uses Firefox and never has trouble with it freezing, etc. Your thoughts/suggestions/experiences? Thanks.
Pawz4me
We run Mozilla Firefox on all our computers. I hear good things about Chrome, too. We moved away from IE years ago and kicked ourselves for waiting so long to ditch it.
Melissa in Australia
I like IE and dislike Firefox. Not for any particular reason really.
Cammie
Firefox all the way. Ditched IE because so many of the sites I use for work just were too buggy with IE. I have never had any problems with Firefox.
Lizzie in Ma
IE is evil. I've been using Firefox since it first came out in Beta. On rare occasions I will use Chrome.
craftyerin
I always used Firefox on our PCs. I really like Safari on my Mac.
Word Nerd
I use Chrome or Safari. I used Firefox for a while, but it kept crashing after one update and I got tired of it. Ditch IE!
MyThreeSons
I've always used IE and have always had issues with it freezing up on me and just not acting properly consistently. My mother uses Firefox and never has trouble with it freezing, etc. Your thoughts/suggestions/experiences? Thanks. I use Chrome. There have been a couple of sites that had some glitchy things happen, but overall I am pleased. I find it weird to use IE, like when I'm on the computers at the library. ThisIsTheDay
COMODO Dragon!!!! I loathe IE, and I've used Firefox from its beginning (family member worked for Mozilla). For the past year, I've run FB on Chrome, everything else on Firefox, as I want to keep FB out of the rest of my computer browsing. Ds recently suggested that I'd like Comodo, and I LOVE it--far beyond anything else I've ever used. It's super fast and super secure. If anyone else here used it, I'm betting it'd be their number one vote too.
zoobie
I prefer Chrome.
Mnemosyne
I use Firefox, Chrome slows down my computer quite a bit. They are both preferable to IE, though (and Safari).
LostSurprise
IE is used by so many people that when there are attacks, IE gets targeted the most (according to dh). He yanked me into Firefox and then Chrome years ago. I suppose when one of those becomes the browser of the majority we'll have to move again. Guest JocJames
It really depends. For regular browsing I think Chrome and FF are easily the best. But if you have other interests, then there might be a better browser. For example, I like to download off the internet, so I use the torch browser since the downloading capabilities are embedded. But this might not apply to everyone. If you're searching for a new browser, first ask yourself what you want out of the browser.
