Cricket
Came across these pages today. Had to laugh because the one swimsuit picture was used in one of the modesty articles that started a thread here. I thought the swimsuit was so cute. There is even a line for men, which is a bit unusual. Totally cute and retro (but I'm sure not nearly modest enough for some!). https://www.facebook.com/reyswimwear https://www.facebook.com/jonahapparel

unfrumpable.
Those are cute. The first link is similar to what can be bought off the rack most places. I wear suits similar to those with the little skirts, but it's because I'm heavy not because I'm modest. :)
J-rap
Those are darling! I see more sites advertising vintage style suits these days. I love them!

Word Nerd
I've seen a lot of retro-looking swimsuits, but many are smallish on top (as are the models). That first suit (in the FB profile pic) is cute but would not look like that on me.
LucyStoner
I love the retro high waisted style 2 pc suits at modcloth. Just because I prefer two pieces doesn't mean I need or want a teeny tiny suit. ;)
Mrs Mungo
I love the retro high waisted style 2 pc suits at modcloth. Just because I prefer two pieces doesn't mean I need or want a teeny tiny suit. ;) The cut of my suit is very similar to the red one you linked, except mine is from Land's End and doesn't tie behind the neck. Again, I'm only around 5'2", so there isn't as much torso showing on me as on the model. My breasts wouldn't fit in the "modest" suits linked, so they would be less modest than my two piece with boob coverage.
BigMamaBird
I love the men's ones! So classic and tailored and not the usually, "plastic" cheap ones I see everywhere.

One piece suits tend to be immodest on me because in addition to being tall, all of my height is almost all in my torso, meaning the bust line gets pulled down really far. In addition to being uncomfortable, it makes a regular tank suit look like one of those old super low scoop neck one piece suits from the 70s. A total recipe for a wardrobe malfunction. I have been wearing a tankini that shows a strip of skin because I am tall but I think I am going to get that yellow polka dot number if it is restocked in my size. gardenmom5
the men's makes me want to chuckle. 2ds has learned to wear t-shirts with his suit. he fries. and he won't use sunblock. he has more stereotypical red-haired skin than my red-head. (i hate, HATE, speedo's for men. gross. if they want something snug, bike shorts work just fine, and cover more territory.)
