We also found out about http://www.bookadventure.com last year and have continued that throughout the year.

NittanyJen
If you live near one, TD Bank is offering their program again this year too. Read 10 books between May 4 and September ??29 and they'll put $10 in the kid's Young Saver's account (or open one for him with $10 in it). My kids figure this is the easiest money they will ever make.

amselby81
Enrollment is not open yet, but Six Flags has a reading program called "Read to Succeed." Participating kids earn a free ticket to a Six Flags park. http://readtosucceed.discoveryeducation.com/

Kelly1730
Thanks for sharing! We did this with my older children when they were in Christian school but my "only ever homeschooled" sons never participated. They will love this:)
pitterpatter
Do you have to pay shipping on the prizes? I believe Pottery Barn Kids had one last year. We also found out about http://www.bookadventure.com last year and have continued that throughout the year.
fourcatmom
I was just thinking about this yesterday. Thanks!! PS - Anyone know of anything else similar to sign up for? Barnes & Noble will probably have their summer reading program out soon. (Sorry, didn't realize this was already posted) I know that we have a SIX FLAGS park in our area that does a reading program each year. If you read for 6 hours over the course of several weeks, to a month or so - you can turn in your records and earn a free ticket to one of their parks. The cool thing about this program is that you get a free teacher ticket too!
