My boys adore series (or maybe its just my fault for starting series books).

Tales from the Odyssey series was a huge hit last year during Ancients.

This year's big win is Ramona Quimby. We did 4 Ramona books before I decreed I needed a break.

Narnia is our newest thing, and they are loving it. It is so fun to share the wonder with them for the first time.

(We've also done all of the previous suggestions and found them to be great selections too.)

My kids favorite book of all time is Stuart Little. They loved it! Also My Father's Dragon and Boxcar Children series (some of them are really good....2,3 and 6 have lots of nature study...the rest I did not enjoy, but the kids did). I loved the book selections in SL P3/4 and P4/5. My kids are 4 and 5 though. Two of the best picture books I have ever read were Togo and Akiak. The illustrations are amazing and the stories are awesome. Also, Dolphin Adventure was such a huge hit that I had to read it in one night!
