MIRACLE NOODLE: Has Anyone Tried This Product?

Recommended Posts

It is the same thing as the 'tofu shiritake' noodles that "Hungry Girl' is so nuts about. I can get them in the supermarket for not much. They are in the refrigerated section along with other Asian food.

They are a bit chewy, not like pasta. DH and I like them in soup.

Hungry Girl website has many ideas for their use.

edited to add that the tofu shiratake didn't seem to need the same rinsing. Just one shloosh of water seemed to be good enough. Or, we are not that sensitive?

I have had them. You have to rinse and rinse and rinse and rinse and rinse and rinse and rinse and rinse and rinse and rinse some more and then you rinse it again or it will taste VERY fishy.

I had it with spaghetti sauce and it was fine.

So, if I were to buy some, would you recommend rinsing them?;)

You would have had to have your entire olfactory sense removed. The smell was like an 87 pound fish wacked you in the nose! :001_huh:

I agree with the rinsing.

These are not the same as the tofu shiritake, they have no soy.

They are more like rice noodles than wheat pasta. I use the angel hair in stir fry.
