MariannNOVA
I am not selling or promoting. I have seen this product on Amazon and on their own website for a couple of years, and I am curious. Feedback from anyone here? http://www.miraclenoodle.com/default.aspx TIA
Impish
Sounds like a male enhancement product... *off to check website* Natural fibre? Uh... Even the inducement of it being gluten free, no thanks. I'm thinking Soylent Green...
solascriptura
I tried it last year. It's not bad, but it's not a type of noodle that most americans are used to. It might work in an asian recipe. It was on the expensive side though.
ThatCyndiGirl
I have had them. You have to rinse and rinse and rinse and rinse and rinse and rinse and rinse and rinse and rinse and rinse some more and then you rinse it again or it will taste VERY fishy. I had it with spaghetti sauce and it was fine.
redsquirrel
It is the same thing as the 'tofu shiritake' noodles that "Hungry Girl' is so nuts about. I can get them in the supermarket for not much. They are in the refrigerated section along with other Asian food. They are a bit chewy, not like pasta. DH and I like them in soup. Hungry Girl website has many ideas for their use. edited to add that the tofu shiratake didn't seem to need the same rinsing. Just one shloosh of water seemed to be good enough. Or, we are not that sensitive?

firstbreath
Yes, and then rinse some more! ;) :iagree: Haha! And then eat them with something flavorful that covers any lingering fishy smell! That said, I still rather like them...though I am the only one in the house who does. :D
SweetMissMagnolia
I've tried a different brand at a grocery store....they are good....definately have a smell to them (at least to me)....I usually end up tossing the juices they come in and either use plain water or a stock to heat them up--the brand I get comes in the fridge section..... Or, we are not that sensitive? These are not the same as the tofu shiritake, they have no soy. They are more like rice noodles than wheat pasta. I use the angel hair in stir fry.
