pgr
Seems there are so many editions, with varying quality of illustrations and completeness of the collection. Any recommendations?
Chelli
This is my favorite. http://www.amazon.com/Childs-Garden-Verses-Robert-Stevenson/dp/1402750625/ref=sr_1_3?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1313343597&sr=1-3 I love the illustrations in it! They remind me of books I had as a child.
daughterofsarah77
I was trying to figure this out myself! We need it for part of our SL curriculum next year, and there seem to be many different versions with varying numbers of pages...hmmmm:glare:

Rai B.
:iagree:I also have A Child’s Book of Poems by the same artist. I don’t have the Tasha Tudor one, but I do like her other books. kokotg
I have a sentimental attachment to the Eloise Wilkin illustrated one. I can't really separate the poems from those illustrations in my head, even.
annlaura
Another vote for Tasha Tudor. :)

mhornby56
I love the Tasha Tudor one, but my kids prefer Gyo's illustrations.
pgr
I was leaning toward the one illustrated by Gyo Fujikawa, but I'm off to look at the one by Tasha Tudor as well! :auto:
crazyforlatin
Does anyone know which version has a font that is comfortable for a younger child?
desertmum
I have the one with Gyo Fujikawa's illustrations. It is the only one I could find as the other (Tudor) was sold out. My dc likes the illustrations though.
nov05mama
We have this one (Dover Unabridged version - Thea Kilros illustrated) and I don't LOVE it, but it was something we already owned. If I was choosing to purchase one, I would likely have picked the Tasha Tudor one...it's beautiful! This would be my second choice (which is also the AO recommendation I believe)
