gingersmom
Past movie nights have included Ghostbusters 1 & 2, Home Alone, all the Harry Potter Movies, The Simpsons Movie. I have an 11 year old boy and 14 year old girl. I'm out of ideas for tonight. Any suggestions?

Night Elf
I googled for top movies of the decade all the way back to my childhood. I found movies I had totally forgotten about that we all enjoyed. A few that pop into my mind right now are Explorers, The Goonies, and WarGames. They are cheesy but my children liked them.
gingersmom
Excellent suggestions! I'm going to write them all down for future movie nights. I don't think I have seen Goonies or Prince of Persia so I'm excited. :001_smile:

angela in ohio
Nacho Libre We just watched this with my three dc a few weeks ago, because I love the message of the movie and it is hysterical.
MeaganS
I'm going to watch My Big Fat Greek Wedding tonight, so that's my recommendation! Maybe pick a theme. When I was a kid my dad used to get us excited about movies by having us "bet" on how many times something was said or happened. Like counting how many times "the force" was said during Star Wars or something. The winner got a candy or something. Or you can choose one from exactly 20 years ago. You know, make it fun.
