Down_the_Rabbit_Hole
Today I got out all my old Barbie dolls and stuff for dd to play with. While we were going through all the retro fashions and different dolls, dd picked up one of my Skippers. She wanted to know why this one had different body. I turned the arm and showed her how this Skipper can grow up to be a teenager (she goes from flat chest to big chest and grows about an inch). She thought this was so funny. She had to go show her brother. I hear her upstairs explaining..."You turn the arm and POP! instant boobs. Isn't that so cool?" Ds said it just proves that toys back then were weird. Missouri Okie
I had one of those growing up. It was my favorite toy. Not because of the boob thing, though. I didn't give that aspect much thought. She had such great hair that never got tangled.

I found it at a garage sale when I was pregnant with my youngest. Kelly
Shelly in IL
In this house, I don't need a doll to d o something that amazing, the kids have me. I just raise my fork, and my derierre grows! And by bigger proportions than those tiny "books!"
radiobrain
I am pretty sure it was called "Growing Up Skipper". I had one too. I would crank her arm as fast as I could and do sound effects. :D

I had no idea that something like this existed. Wow! Or as your son said "weird."

myfunnybunch
Hahahaha! I had that doll. My sis and I thought she was the coolest thing! I remember liking her hair too. Hmmm.....<turning arm> Nope. Doesn't work on me. I'd even have settled for getting a little taller and getting my waist back. Drat. Cat
