Impish
Wolf's on the phone with his mother for Mother's Day. Am I a bad person for wanting to flee to our room and pretend I'm asleep? Probably. *sigh* *wonders how fast she can say, "Happy Mother's day...whoops, kids are biting the dog, gotta go!"*

Impish
I get spoiled Mother's Day. No cooking, no child rearing, no nothing. Just allowed to sit and rot. :D
kchara
I'm not even making phone calls today. I told my mom Happy Mother's Day via FB. Not up to the drama.
Anita in NC
You are not a bad person. I won't talk to my MIL either. No way! I've had her yell and scream at me one too many times. Not going there again.

It is on my top 5 list of things for which to be grateful.

I used to joke with dh that that was a big factor in why I married him- how far away his parents lived at the time.:lol:
coffeefreak
NOPE! DH knows not to call his mom this year. Today is all about me, and I refuse to share my day with her! Have a fake nap on us! Dorinda
Impish
God help her if she calls back...she *always* tries to call when he isn't home. With what's in the 'ARGH MIL' thread, I will completely snap.
