Remudamom
Sis just heard a three month old baby has been found alive in the rubble. Her news is pretty reliable because of her job. Wow. There was also a 17 month old baby found that is currently at UAB. Wow again.

1bassoon
Wow RM, I hadn't heard that one. Great! I did hear an interview here in B'ham with two women who had been in T'loosa - they said there are so. many. orphans. Babies who lived because their mothers covered them from the debris. They were putting out a desperate, desperate plea for pack-n-plays, diapers, and ready-made formula. I just - can't - get my mind around all this. :(
Pax
That is inspiring. I am continuing to lift them all up in prayer. The southern part of my family was in the path and miraculously survived, thank goodness. I just wish there was something I could do to help. mcconnellboys
It's always good to hear these stories in the aftermath of a disaster, thanks! I've been amazed after the Haitian earthquake, etc. at how long some can survive in the rubble....
