Please continue to pray for mom as she takes the treatments and that there will be minimum side effects. Thank you again for your prayers for our family! :-) Love, Emily (Molly's middle daughter) UPDATE - Hi Everyone, I just wanted to let you all know that mom completed her first round of chemo this afternoon. The battle has begun! PTL! So far she feels fine and has been able to eat today. We can definitely feel your prayer support. The nurses were able to get her IV's started without any problems. Everyone has been super nice and compassionate. The best news of the day is that the MRI showed nothing unexpected! Praise God! The doctor was thrilled that all the bases are covered and nothing new was found. We definitely know what we are dealing with now after all of the testing. One more praise is that the nausea medicine the doctor prescribed is very expensive. It would have been $409.00, but Mom only had to pay $10.00 for it! God is truly good to us!!! Radiation is on hold right now until the radiologist oncologist talks to mom's doctor at Duke. There is some concern that the arm may need surgery after all. If that is the case, it can't happen until after chemo is finished sometime in November. Please continue to pray that the side effects will be minimal. We appreciate all the love and support, prayers, and emails.
