Dayle in Guatemala Posted May 29, 2010 Share Posted May 29, 2010 We have had 4 days rain and it's been raining over 24 hours now with Hurricane Agatha hitting us. With that and the volcano erupting, it's been really tough lately. I just heard that there were mudslides and landslides in another part of Guatemala with people killed. Also, we live in the valley surrounded by volcanoes, mountains, and hills. We're doing okay, but, I worry for our friends here who live in housing with dirt floors and lamina structures. It's just really wet! I worry for their health. DH and I went out to get our drinking water refilled so we wouldn't run out, and it took us over an hour to get home because of flooding here.
