Cindy in C-ville
I have a sweet friend who just found out her little girl turned this week into a breech position. Any tips for getting her to turn? TIA!
Joanne
Yes. I had a chiropractor perform the Webster Technique.
Sue G in PA
Yes...Webster Technique turned my ds11 when he was breech. I always seem to have babies in breech position toward the end. Check out http://www.spinningbabies.com. Should give her some good ideas. Praying the little one turns into vertex soon!
Mommyfaithe
My boys were breech until almost the last week before they were born. My doc told me to lay hands and knees...butt up...(very attractive :001_huh:) BUT , it did seem to work..LOL...by the way, none of mine were born breech, they went head down right before labor. ~~Faithe
SnowWhite
I used spinningbabies.com and it totally worked. Swimming, proper posture, some exercises (plus lots of prayer).

Aoife
Another vote for spinningbabies.com! worked for me! Also put a ice back on the top of my belly which got him moving quick!
Heather in OK
How far along is she? If she is earlier than 36wks I would tell her to not worry about it. If she is that far along or more then she needs to think about being proactive in getting the baby to turn. After 36wks if a baby is still breech then I recommend finding a chiro who can do the Webster (not all chiros can). It has an 82% success rate in turning them. Ditto the Spinning Babies website. Also, a simple Google search for "turning breech babies" will give many websites that have tips/tricks. Then I would also gently remind her that if the baby doesn't turn, to trust the baby. Babies are smart. This little one may have turned b/c she knows it's the safest way for her to be born.
PinkInTheBlue
Spinningbabies worked for me as well. I believe I was about 37 weeks and he was born 2 weeks later. I continued to occasionally do the exercises and he never turned the wrong way again.

Starr
Not all chiropractors are equal. I would look for recommendations.
