Joanne
She's built like me. She'd fit perfectly into 1980's style "mom pants". What she doesn't look good in are jean with a low rise. All I could find for her at Target was "low rise" and "lowest rise". I'm not the most conservative mom, but how is a plumber's look ever appropriate for a curvy 13 yo girl? Oh, and they have to be budget friendly. Help?
Cera
I would try Old Navy. We got some for our oldest from the girls section that were acceptable and their adult section has mid and even high rise styles. I think they were around $30 for 2. LunaLee
Old Navy makes some jeans that have a "classic" rise, which come up to just below the belly button and no plumber's crack. They usually run about $29.50 and about $25 when they are on sale.
AngieW in Texas
Canyon River Blues at Sears has been the best jeans brand for my curvy girls. They even come in slims that actually fit my girls. These jeans actually come to the belly button.
Suzanne in ABQ
My local thrift stores are full to overflowing with high-rise jeans in all sizes. They're like new and cost about $4.00 a pair!
Hen
my 14 yr dd likes old navy, she likes the sweetheart jeans. She won't wear low or mid rise.

teeleigh2000
Second to Gloria Vanderbilt. The style named "Amanda" is a classic 80's fit!!!!!!!!!!! I couldn't believe it when I found them.
Aggie
I found wonderful jeans for dd at Cavender's. They were on the clearance rack, too. Mid-rise, relaxed leg (for riding), and long enough for dd's long legs. The brand is Twenty X.
Starr
Curvy girls do better in misses pants. They are still low but not as bad as juniors. Get petites if the length is better. My dd never fit well in juniors. We still have to try on all her jeans. She also wears a belt. A long cami, tucked in, for a first layer top helps too. Georgia On My Mind
Lee Jeans are classic rise and widely sold. Check their website for where they are sold. They advertise they are still making the same regular rise.
Jenn in Mo
JC Penney's A.N.A. jeans are higher and fit a curve well, imo. They don't gap around the waist after providing room for a curvy hiney, like most.
