angelmorris
We had a pipe burst in our schoolroom and have to tear out all the walls and flooring ..... so in an attempt to look at the bright side I'm making redecorating plans :D. OK heres the details... the room in not terribly light although it does have one larger window (it just doesn't ever get direct sunlight) The new carpet is a neutral mix... grays/tans blended together, the carpet itself is on the darker side.... something we though would hide stains. :D I don't want white or anything terribly boring... I also can't do anything too out there or DH might panic. So what color would you paint your schoolroom if you could choose almost anything?? nono
Lemon yellow, esp. since it never gets direct sunlight. Have fun choosing!!!

myfatherslily
Ours is blue. I really like it! http://s207.photobucket.com/albums/bb37/my_fathers_lily/School/ It's a big bolder than the pictures show, but you get the idea:)
lllll
I'd do some shade of off-white and go crazy with color in the furnishings and accessories. If I even had a schoolroom, that is. :)
tdeveson
A nice cheerful sunny yellow. Love that color -- it's energizing, but not frantic.
orangearrow
Our living room and school room are painted a wonderful, warm yellow. We don't get a lot of light in the living room and it really has cheered things up in there!
extendedforecast
Sherwin Williams' Napery. It's a yellowish tone that receives many compliments from visitors to my home. Cindy
Peela
Definitely a happy, sunny yellow. Yellow is also the colour of wisdom and intellect in many cultures.
angelmorris
Wow what beautiful rooms. I love them both :) I like the idea of yellow although DH doesn't so much... I do have the power to override him but I'd rather now if you kwim
Heather in MD
Sunny yellow here too! But the walls have so many posters and bookshelves on them, you don't see a lot of the wall color LOL! Heather in Md
Garga
Mine's yellow. 3 walls are a lighter yellow and 1 wall is a dark yellow to sort of "ground" the room. I like to do that. Have three walls one color and the 4th wall a slightly different color. It's opposite in my living room. 3 walls are very dark olive green, and the 4th wall is a light yellow. It balances out all that darkness.
