  1. Is it "The Way I Heard It", Mike Rowe's podcast?
  2. Tickets to the Trans Siberian Orchestra Live Stream concert on December 18th. They have gift package options as well. https://tsolivestream.com/tso/livestream/
  3. Puzzles. Dd and I usually do two or three 1,000 piece Ravensburger puzzles each year. We have already completed three of them in the last month and a half. So we decided to up our game and I ordered this 3,000 piece puzzle from Barnes and Noble. I think it will take up most of the space on the dining room table!
  4. I read somewhere the suggestion of using the skinny elastic headbands instead of hair ties. The kind that you can get in multi-packs from the store.
  5. DS showed me this one today...
  6. I'm pleased with Governor Hogan's leadership as well. I live very close to both the PA and DE state lines and all three seem to be taking important steps.
  7. Okay, I'm on episode 12 or 13, but I have to work today! I went back and re-watched the first scene but not sure what you mean by the significance of it? Can you post, or, if it would be a spoiler, can you send me a PM? Thanks!
  8. Thanks for all of the tips. They have been on a couple of cruises already, one from Vancouver to Alaska, and another from Baltimore up through New England/Canada. I will give him a call and give him your suggestions :)
  9. My parents would like to take a Panama Canal cruise in late March/early April. I don't know anything about cruises, so I thought this would be a good place to ask :) They don't know how many days/nights, but they would need to leave from Florida. Any suggestions, helpful hints, etc. would be appreciated!
  10. I have four pairs of leggings, and dd has two. We both wear the One-Size leggings, so we can share :) I will send you a PM with the names of the two consultants I usually buy from.
  11. Our newest game is Anomia, which is available as either a board game or card game. It takes about 20 minutes to play. Another fun one is Telestrations, but it is more of a party game.
  12. I hadn't even thought of that - I am nearsighted but she has perfect vision. Now I have to find out what my prescription is...
  13. DD and I are going on a mother/daughter trip in a couple of weeks, and it will be her first time snorkeling. (And my first time in about 18 years!). I am wondering if it is worth it to buy our own mask/snorkel to take with us rather than renting them? If so, any recommendations for good brands/types of equipment? Either from somewhere like Amazon or a brick-and-mortar sporting goods store. Thanks!
  14. When our hour was up, we hadn't finished solving the puzzle. But I guess since there wasn't a group after us, she let us stay in until we figured it out, probably another 7 - 10 minutes.
  15. The one we went to has a safety feature for this. The door is locked, but all you have to do is turn the knob really hard and it will open. They did ask us about claustrophobia before we went in.
  16. Just wanted to thank the OP for this recommendation. We went to Escape Games Live in York, PA today and had a great time! We are looking forward to going back, especially when they open their "Sherlock" themed room :)
  17. I got a lot of useful information from this book - Acid Reflux Solution by Jorge Rodriguez. It is a cookbook, but the chapters in the beginning are helpful. One of the best things I've found that helps is to not eat anything in the three hours before going to bed. Also to avoid mint and chocolate(!).
  18. Thank you for taking the time to type this. Ds has several other medical conditions and has always just dealt with things as they come. But this acne is really hurting him. He is so frustrated with the dermatologist that he doesn't want to go back. He's been on doxycycline before and it helps, but he can't take it for more than a few months. I think I have convinced him to try a new dermatologist - now it's a matter of finding one. Thanks again!
  19. What does he use as a cleanser? I agree with the face touching - I'll have to remind him more often to stop.
  20. What do you use in the morning? Do you have a favorite glycolic cleanser?
  21. Does she do this at a dermatologists?
  22. What is the Target brand called? I can't find it on their website. I'm going to pick up some more pillowcases so they can be changed out more often as well. Thanks.
  23. No medicines lately, other than the accutane trial. I did start him on a probiotic two weeks ago as well. We are using Culturelle based on a recommendation from his GI nurse.
  24. He has it all of the above areas. We are working on the diet issues. He is allergic to eggs, and doesn't eat them on their own. But he does eat baked goods, etc. with egg in them. I wonder if that is contributing?
