Brindee
7th grade dd: The Odyssey (she liked it) Gulliver's Travels (did not like/did not even finish) Blood on the River: Jamestown, 1607 (To go with our history studies. She liked it) Robinson Crusoe (listened to this one. She said she prefers reading the book rather than listening) The Three Musketeers (liked okay) The Journals of Captain John Smith: A Jamestown Biography (liked okay) Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass, an American Slave (liked okay) That's what she's done so far, aside from her reading on her own. We are going to the Library tomorrow as there are more she wants to check out. ETA: Oh, she's going to start "The Scarlet Pimpernel" soon. The wording is hard to get through sometimes, but it's an interesting story! Then we'll watch the 1982 movie version. I LOVE that one! :D Edited September 22, 2009 by Brindee
