He's off to high school tomorrow...

Recommended Posts

so my 15 year old just turned in the only paper I assigned to him this summer.

He read The Count of Monte Cristo during the months of June and July and wrote an awesome eleven-page paper comparing/contrasting Dantes' quest for justice to the brand of revenge sought by characters in modern movies and literature.

:D

I think he's ready for the classroom.

That must be gratifying, exciting, and reassuring all at the same time. Kudos, Mom! :hurray:

Thank you! He is very excited to start school tomorrow. His classes include calculus, forensic science, world cuisine and honors history and English. We will continue to cover Latin, rhetoric and logic at home.

Awesome! Way to go, both of you!

Thank you, thank you, S.!

I would love to read that paper!

Now, both of you, I know you won't sleep much tonight, but try.

[speaking from experience here]

We'll try. I have a feeling I will be a bit more successful than Jeffrey. :)

Wow! That is so great. I know you are so proud. He's gonna be awesome.
Thanks, Donna!
