MomLovesClassics
We were all set to name our kitten "Crystal" since she is white with blue eyes. My oldest son, never gave any ideas, and when I told him the name that his sister picked out he said it was "cheesy." The kitten will be here next week and she needs a name. We can't name her Princess becase we had one with that name already. Can't name her Bella, because daughter's name is Isabella. I would like a sophisticated name, and am out of ideas. Who is good at naming kittens? I think now oldest son thinks all names like Snow, etc are cheesy. I don't want him telling us how cheesy the cat's name is. newbie
What if you name kitty, cheesy! I like Marshmallow for a white kitty. But thats cheesy too.
jenL
Although she has dark hair in the novel, the way they portrayed her in the LOTR film, she is very pale with blue/grey eyes... this made me think of your kitten right away... so what about the name ARWEN... the daughter of the elfin king from Lord of the Rings? Mom-ninja.
I like Crystal. It's not cheesy. I do not like cheesy names for pets. My MIL's cat is named Muffins and I can't stand it. The dog is Skeeter....just as bad. Do you have any favorite characters from books? Favorite mythology goddesses? Are you sure any name picked won't be considered cheesy by your ds? ;) I had two female cats named Cheyenne and Maya.

MeAndTheBoys
We named our white cat "Daisy" and it was perfect. I was trying for "Maisy" after some white mouse character (I dont' really know who that is since we don't have tv and have all boys, lol) but they liked "Daisy" better. I don't do names like Snowball or Fluffy; we do "people" names, but hopefully unusual enough that you won't actually KNOW someone with that name, lol.
