purplemama
I need one for my son's math, but I cannot find a simple small plastic protractor. The only one I have found, at Wal-Mart, is more complicated and bigger than what I need. Can anyone help me out? Jennifer
Mamagistra
Do you have a Hobby Lobby nearby? I found a variety of protractors -- including a flexible, shatter-proof one -- there last weekend on the aisle with drafting supplies (t-squares, various stencils, rulers). :001_smile:
Ravin
Wait another month or so for the back to school stuff to hit at Wal-Mart, and you should be able to find what you need. They carry a lot of those sorts of things during BtS they don't year-round.
purplemama
I had not thought of Hobby Lobby for protractor! There is one literally two minutes from my house. I will head there tomorrow afternoon. I buy yarn and fabric there, but haven't ventured too far into other parts of the store for fear of the damage to my checking account :) I really can't wait any more--I have already had to put off what we needed the protractor for three weeks! Thanks, ladies!
Tap
How about a printable one http://www.ossmann.com/protractor/ I googled 'printable protractor' and got several hits if this doesn't work.
melhouse
Hobby Lobby is a good suggestion. We had a horrible time finding one last spring. I think we ended up getting it at Rite-Aid.
Ibbygirl
Office Depot has them as well. :)
EKS
I found a nice small one as part of a kit at the drug store. But you're right, they're usually those clunky ones with this weird pointer thing attached.
Jeannie in NJ
I always get ours at Dollar Stores
2cents
We had a horrible time trying to find one too! Finally found one at Staples.
Rhonda in TX
I would definitely check an office supply store.
hsmom3tn
I had this problem a few years ago. Couldn't find one ANYWHERE. My sister finally found some on clearance at Target and bough every one of them that they had. She's a professional Target clearance shopper, LOL. I've had plenty to give away when others have had this problem :001_smile: Watch for them to be on clearance after the back to school sales. -Angie
