  1. Bump! I've been receiving beautiful cards! Thank you so much! I can list them if anyone if wondering if her card made it here. I hope mine have been arriving. the cards are kind of thick. i know they had enough postage but then I started worrying about them getting mangled...
  2. She's beautiful. I love "old" pictures. I am so sorry she is gone. (((Dawn)))
  3. Well, there is "apprehensive" ...And there is *looks like outtakes from the Blair Witch Project* level of apprehensive
  4. Awww, what an adorable little guy! I hope your DD gets better quickly! Congrats to all!
  5. Just an FYI...NECCO wafers were developed decades before plastic... I think they taste a little chalky but I've never CONSUMED plastic, so I'm not sure what it really tastes like. I've licked plastic plates...tasted nothing like NECCO wafers.
  6. The one where the wife gets a new Peloton bike for Christmas from her husband? https://people.com/sports/peloton-husband-says-onscreen-wife-monica-ruiz-is-overwhelmed-by-negative-backlash-to-commercial/
  7. That's sad about NECCO...they are/were one of the oldest candy companies in US They shipped NECCO wafers to soldiers in WWII bc they held up so well (didn't melt or break easi!y).
  8. He (?) kinda reminds me of the scene where (good) Will Hunting is caught solving equations when he is supposed to be cleaning/doing janitorial work... Like...oh, sh!t, no one was supposed to see this.
  9. Sit back and enjoy the jazz stylings of... Snowflake!
  10. Yes, this is what I was thinking, too. Like the Pampered Chef Taco Ring (which has expanded to all different fillings...) https://www.pamperedchef.com/recipe/Main+Dishes/Large+Round+Stone+with+Handles/Taco+Ring/9963
  11. I would make like 5 lbs of bacon and put it on a serving tray. LOL
  12. A senior monk and a junior monk were traveling together. At one point, they came to a river with a strong current. As the monks were preparing to cross the river, they saw a very young and beautiful woman also attempting to cross. The young woman asked if they could help her cross to the other side. The two monks glanced at one another because they had taken vows not to touch a woman. Then, without a word, the older monk picked up the woman, carried her across the river, placed her gently on the other side, and carried on his
journey. The younger monk couldn’t believe what had just happened. After rejoining his companion, he was speechless, and an hour passed without a word between them. Two more hours passed, then three, finally the younger monk could contain himself any longer, and blurted out “As monks, we are not permitted a woman, how could you then carry that woman on your shoulders?”The older monk looked at him and replied, “Brother, I set her down on the other side of the river, why are you still carrying her?”
  13. I just checked my area...we have 4 stores with none available. I'm sorry.
  14. There are only 2 tongues that are acceptable in my mouth and neither of them belong to a lamb.
  15. rollin' rollin' rollin' keep the jello rollin' sal-ad...
  16. yeah, I think pudding is completely different than gelatin (Jello). But I love both. HOWEVER...if I had to choose one, I'd choose pudding. Butterscotch.
  17. Pistachio Jello is pudding, not gelatin. It is a brand, not the ingredient. But the "salad" is a family favorite. My nieces and nephews who are like the Herdman kids always call it the "green sh!t." Affectionately, and Herdman-like as in... "Aunt Unsinkable...that better be the green sh!t in that bowl."
  18. This sounds intriguing. Have you read Boundaries?
  19. maybe they are not ready for the funeral? and are planning a memorial service for the future? waiting for out of town people? the viewing usually happens within a certain time frame, though.
  20. My dad used to pour milk on jello. I thought it was weird until I tried it. Then when I got older, and did Atkins...I found out a sugar free jello with a hit of cream was even more awesome than regular jello with milk.
  21. mayonaisse. J/K HAHAHA...no, I'm guessing she meant dressing like the bread side dish "dressing" that is also sometimes called stuffing
  22. You post in the one I started, bottom of page 1. But I think there was another thread, too, which I haven't found.
  23. Crossing Matryoshka off the WTM field trip list to the Jello Museum...
