  2. whats with that--tie them down and make them listen to the Monkees and Partridge Family!!!
  3. My mom did it years ago and did really well with it--I wish you determination and stick-to-it-ness to lose the weight you desire!
  4. I love my dyson-we have had ours for 7 yrs and it is still running strong-I love the bagless ( I too would ALWAYS run out of bags). The attachment is okay I like it is a long rigid tube with the flexible tube-easy to stand upright and get under cabinets in the kitchen. I use mine on both carpet and tile. I like the washable filters (they give you 2 so one can be drying while you use the other). I have tried the ball one and that will be my next one!! Really easy to control. I really havent had any complaints....now talk to me about carpet shampoo-ers and we will be talking for hours!!!!!
  5. I have a DD with the same issue, I have used OPGTR along with various readers and the DIBELS program (free google it)--it is a 3x a day 1 min a day read for fluency--it has worked well for us so far.
  6. Thanks Jackie I have been searching for one more addiction :)
  7. My DH one day drew a line in the sand that my DS was going to try a certain food (he is not good about trying new things). But for all the tea in China....did you have to pick Nutella to be that line. Yeah so both my kids love it, I try to abstain ...... just another example of thinking before you jump...into a big puddle of Nutella:lol::lol::lol:
  8. you would have easy access to the Renaissance Festival--it is huge and right outside of Conroe. I have only been to Conroe once but it seemed like a smaller Texas town
  9. FIT FLOPS, as soon as you get out of bed till you go to sleep....and weight loss (this part is still on the list :glare:) I have seen a huge change since I invested in Fit Flops--they are like $50 but worth every penny to me!!!!

  13. if you talking floor grout--you can go to Lowes and they sell Dupont heavy duty grout cleaner--that and a stiff brush (and for me 5 hours of time) voila--I cant believe how big my kitchen looks with the grout a light color---the original color! I hadn't scrubbed the grout for yrs---my daughter (7) commented "like in the olden days, in castles!! when I was on my hands and knees (I bought a garden pad for my knees-it worked wonders...now if my hands werent still sore from arthritis...:tongue_smilie: )
  14. That happened to my daughters bathing suit at a local lake..the only thing I can think it might be is oil from the speed boats----I tried washing it and oxycleaning them 2x--no luck!!
  15. Check your Walgreens they have them on sale 24 for $.99--at that cost I dont care the brand (bic - I think)
  16. Does anyone belong to the Anglican Catholic Church? Do you know if it is In Communion with the Roman Catholic Church. Also does anyone belong to a Roman Catholic Church that celebrates the Anglican Rite-if so, did you become Catholic to participate or did you stay Anglican.....or is no one this particular mix of Christianity? If you belong to either can you enlighten me a bit, I am RC by baptism, confirmed Episcopalian but find myself drawn back to the RC Church. I have been married before so would have to have an annulment to be confirmed in the RC Church, but it was absolved by the Episcopalian Church before we were married. Just trying to figure this out and know that so many of you are well rounded in the area of religion and doctrine......thanks ahead of time
  17. I cant believe I read a whole thread all 9+ pages without looking at the date!!!! But inquiring minds do want to know........
  18. I have noticed it, but it seems to replace an exclamation point--maybe a new windows release not compatible with us dinosaurs???
  19. iPhone!!! It syncs up to outlook and tells me where I need to be, has an alarm that you can set to remind me to get out to the appts (and my kids know when they hear it to get in the car!), email, music, photos, videos of my kids doing something cute (including when my son was wiggling his first loose tooth and it came out!), google that is voice activated, GPS to get me to anywhere, and a news aggregate app so I can stay informed......yes do I love my phone, OH YES
  20. mosquitoes and the lovely biting horse fly--I would recommend a lot of DEET and a very light cotton long sleeve shirt
