  1. Do you have a link for this? Thanks!
  2. http://www.excellenceinwriting.com/EIL-3 I just ordered this for my 12th grader but I am wondering if it would work for my 9th and 10th graders as well? I'm not sure if it would be too much for the younger two at this point. They have been doing TOG's D level work with IEW's Medieval Writing and have gone through TTC as well at WTTW ( 12th and 10th graders only)
  3. Can this be used without having used book 1? Will we miss much is we skip book 1?
  4. Stir fry some veggies, toss in the rinsed chick peas, add some soy sauce and serve over rice.
  5. LOL! FYI we had an IGA when we lived in northern Maine :D
  6. :iagree: I regret waiting for the click that never came. It definitely sounds like a learning disability of some sort and I recommend getting an evaluation done and going from there.
  7. I lasted 15 months by eating a very low fat, high fiber plant based diet. By the time I had it removed I was in daily pain and the Dr told me afterwards that my GB was hardened and shrunk. My liver test(whatever that means) was highly abnormal and it took almost 6 months afterwards for the tenderness/pain in my liver area to go away. The surgery was a breeze and I highly recommend not waiting like I did.
  8. I recommend using SOTW for grades 1-4 and starting TOG in grade 5, folding the younger one(s) in at that time.
  9. My kids eat eggs, cheese and drink milk. They have eggs just about every day.
  10. Thanks for the ideas! I am going to be putting together a menu and shopping list tomorrow.
  11. Do you think this could be completed over the summer? Are there questions after/in the chapters and are there answers?( I don't see a teacher's book) Thanks!
  12. I am using this with my 10th and 12th graders this year along with Notgrass Exploring Economics.
  13. I agree. I ordered it, looked through it and decided to return it. It just wasn't going to work for my son and by the time I would have finished tweaking, it just made sense to use something else.
  14. My 7th grader will do: Who Is God by Apologia Saxon 7/6 Apologia Physical Science R&S Eng 7 SWR IEW U.S. History Writing Lessons Vol I TOG III Henle Fallacy Detective
  15. We use SWR and I have cursive first so I might give this a try. Thanks!
  16. Congratulations! I am so glad to hear your baby is fine but a cord issue has zero to do with VBAC and while your risk is slightly higher for a rupture because of the C section it is unfair to say your uterus would have ruptured. Could have? Sure, but would have? Woman who have never had C sections have had ruptures. Anyways, enjoy that bundle of joy!
