  3. I love my galaxy s2 and galaxy tab. I will update to the s3 when I qualify for an upgrade.
  4. The range of normal for 4 year olds is huge. I have taught preK for several years and every year there are children who love to talk and tell you stories, can write their names and letters with ease and draw wonderful pictures of people with all their parts including eyelashes. Then there are the children who only talk if necessary and every time they get a writing utensil in their hand make lots of scribbles. Most kids fall somewhere in between but both ends of the spectrum fall within the range of normal.
  5. for some reason the page is no longer loading :( I'm really afraid what my child's school would rank at. I wish I could homeschool him.
  6. My dream if we ever had enough $ to do it, is to buy a RV and spend a year with the children and my husband exploring all 50 states. (Well 49 because Hawaii would involve a flight not an RV) So I guess I am crazy too. I think it could be done the kids would have plenty of room to explore outside. I like the idea of building a garage or something as storage and a place to put a large freezer/fridge.
  7. We had chickens several years back. They laid brown eggs so we dyed brown eggs. They turned out fine actually made some of the colors appear brighter.
  8. I usually get them lots of candy and a couple small things (bubbles sidewalk chalk ect.) but this year I'm trying to cut down our candy consumption so I ordered them each one nice gift. I'm hoping the arrive on time though I got an email that some of my items are on back order. :scared:
  9. When I pulled my 13 yo from public school earlier this year he was unable to do basic multiplication or division. I purchased LOF honey for him and started him from there. He did well in honey, ice cream and jellybeans and relearned how to do math. He has done fractions, and is now currently working on decimals and percents. The problem is he goes to his grandparents house while I work and has began cheating on his math using a calculator so has now forgotten how to do long division again. He has been told no calculators and to show all his work but this child is SO LAZY about school work. I am really at a loss of what to do with him. My plan was to continue with pre algebra through the summer so next year he will be ready for Algebra 1 in 9th grade. Do I switch curriculum and have him repeat 8th grade? His writing is awful as well but though undiagnosed I believe he has disgraphia because he has continually had the same problems since kindergarten. Our public school system had never brought the possibilty of a disability to my attention and always made him out to be lazy, another good reason for him to be out of there. Ok I'm wandering off topic math switch curriculum or continue with more supervision and accountability for cheating.
  10. Yes if he wants to read them I would let him my oldest ds read the all when hebwas in 3rd and 4th grade. I remember his teacher wouldn't let him check one of them out because she said the reading level was too high so I bought it he read it and aced the ar test. Has he seen any of the movies? If so I think he woukd definatly be fine

  16. I would stake out my lawn chair on deck and make sure myself or hubby inhabited it at all times to avoid the stench. I would be irritable about the food because I'm really not a nice person when I'm hungry and would call out any other passengers who were being unfair. I don't think I would bother with suing unless I got really sick or hurt.
  17. I usually tell my 1st grader what to write on his homework otherwise we waste an hour with him moping over doing the homework. Boring homework from school gets done and I free up more time for us to afterschool.
  18. I'm currently using FLL with my 1st grader afterschool I'm thinking about picking up WWE to start over the summer also. I already own sequential spelling that I'm using with his older brother so I may implement that this summer as well. Kim
  19. the drops irritate some people eyes and won't do anything for a viral infection, but if it is bacterial then the drops are necessary to kill the infection and you should start feeling better about 24 hours after starting them. Viral can last up to a week I think.
  20. $1 per tooth unless the tooth fairy is caught without any ones or quarters my older DS has gotten a 5 a couple times. My younger has only lost 1 tooth so far and got $1
