    This thread is so timely for me. I was literally getting on the board to post and flockofsillies beat me to it. My ds has had loose BM for going on 3 weeks now and his poor bottom is just getting raw. I have tried Desitin, Cortisone, left over Nystatin from a previous yeast diaper rash and NOTHING is helping. He is having 3-5 BM's a day and I just can't get him relief. I figure his BM must be acidic to be causing this much skin irritation. I am going to go out right now and get what I need to whip this stuff up. Now I just need to figure out what is causing the frequent, loose stool. *sigh* We have been blessed with stomachs of steel so if he has some sort of sensitivity that will be a whole new adventure for this family. I think I am going to start with wheat and milk products. I have already started him on probiotics.

    I have always dyed my own hair but this year for our anniversary my dh sent me to the beauty salon to be pampered. WE both liked the results so much that I doubt I will ever go back. I didn't specifically get just a dye. Instead I have her do a 2 color foil. This adds depth, lasts longer because the grow out isn't as blazingly obvious as just a normal dye and is not as hard on my hair since only some of my hair is dyed. It would also be a GREAT solution to graying hair. The price to foil is higher than a basic dye because of the time it takes but I can go 6 months before the grow out is REALLY getting obvious. My stylist also has me sit under the dryer so as the previous poster mentioned this may set the dye better.

    Hi Bill,

     

    I haven't missed the rep points until now. I was searching for a thread that I felt had good medical info for women. I wanted to tag it so that it would be easier to find in the future. I came across the circumcision thread and got stuck there.... I skipped to the last page and came across your post and I just had to comment on it.

    I was really blessed by your well thought out and rational contribution to the topic. We chose to circ for all of those reasons and as I was reading I felt like UGH, a calm voice please... Toward the end it was getting nasty. Because the thread is from June I wasn't going to post but it was killing me not to!!!! Then I read your post and was like AHHHH finally some REASON!

    SO all of that to say your post was well thought out, calm, rational and I'm sure it helped the OP!!

    I'm trying to leave feedback for everything I purchased off of the boards this summer but they only allow you to post 3 feedback ratings in 24hrs?!?!? So I will have to wait until later to rate our transaction.:glare: BTW I really like the How Does God DO That? It is perfect for my teaching style. I am using it with God's Design as my spine.

    Jeff and I really like music too. All kinds.

    I like playlist because it is free. You have to be online to listen to it... which *can* be a pain but our pc is in the livingroom so it doubles as our radio/mp3/cd player anyhow. When you sign up you can link to friends with playlist accounts and listen to their playlists if you want. So I often go to their playlists to look for new music.

    I can smell... sort of. It is more ears, throat, eyes, head-achy-ish.... At the very bottom of my blog page is my playlist. It has several songs on it that play randomly so I'm not sure which one you heard. But if you scroll down to it you can manipulate which songs it plays and figure out which one it was. The artist and title are listed for each song so you will be able to get that info. And yes, I really LIKE playlist! It's a cool internet gadget!:D

    I understand! My thread.... which was perfectly innocent... got the MEANEST tags. My feelings were hurt! I just couldn't believe how rude whomever did it was being! I am SOOO glad that the moderators cracked down on it so quickly.

    I had to add.... My dh is a moderator on a graphic art forum and I know how much work goes into it. SOOOO that being said.... THANK YOU for all your hard work and putting up with us.:D

    Thanks!! I think so. It was a sweet, little surprise he whipped up for me awhile back. He took the picture when we lived in Hawaii.

    Only *one* picture is allowed. AND there is a *restriction* on size.

    Wow, I am surprised at the strong feelings. :confused: Uh, I've never really been on a forum where all of the sigs were glitter anything. My husband does graphic design, graphic art, and web design. My sig is one of his creations and is graphic ART. The plumerias are a picture HE took. All in all, it is a good thing it can be turned off for those who dislike it.

    A lot of forums allow HTML in the signature line and this one *still* does not. So only ONE sig pic is allowed, that should keep it from bogging down. Plus you can adjust how many replies are listed per page and if you keep that number low the load time will be improved also. Most forums allow HTML so people often have several sig pics, which can really bog things down. One pic shouldn't be too bad.

    I am so GLAD they enabled this feature!! I was bummed when I joined here and wasn't able to use my sig pic. I haven't been a member of a forum before where you couldn't have one. WooHoo!!:D :hurray: :thumbup: :hurray:

    I would still be your friend.... What about adult public urination??? My husband is hanging the drywall in my parents new home and so we were all over there yesterday during the afternoon. My parents have 10 acres and it is heavily treed. My husband was talking with me and my father. He walked over to a tree with his back to us and peed right on a tree... still talking to us.... :confused: They must do that all day while they work together... and I guess that *may* be what it is like in a men's restroom with urinals and all. It was just a little weird for me... lol
