  1. Every year I make a scrapbook/yearbook for my DS. It helps me to have a theme based around a quote. This year my mind is blank! If you can think of anything it would be a HUGE blessing. Thanks! Past years have been: 6th grade – Quote -One never learns to understand truly anything but what one loves. ~ Goethe Theme -Loving the 6th grade Each page had hearts cut out with sayings like â€Love is for the birds†when he went to a program about birds or “Love thy neighbor†on the page with his community service projects. 5th grade- Quote – Accept no one’s definition of your life; define yourself. Theme - Defining the 5th grade Each page had a definition like Lego –noun- a construction toy consisting of plastic bricks… Then a sentence about his Lego club and the Lego store etc. 4th grade – Quote - Home is where your story begins. Theme - The story of 4th grade Each page had a book with Title, Setting, Characters and Plot describing each activity.
  2. FYI - Bonnie Terry's new book School Stategies for ADHD Kids is being offered free for Kindle users (or on a PC with the Kindle app) March 7th - 9th.
  3. The app is now installed on our Ipad, thanks to GuestHollow. I think the real cards would be a better fit for us, not being able to show the picture as I read was odd. $2.99 app vs. $28.00 cards... maybe I can learn to deal with it...
  4. Thanks to everyone here, I just spent 60+ bucks on the Cobalt kit! Ugh! You people should work on commission! Are you starting with 2013? Or the school year? Christmas?
  5. They are trading cards/stickers made by Topps that are parodies of pop culture brands. Some are a little iffy but most of them are funny, like Ditz crackers instead of Ritz Kids in my school (in the 70's) decorated their book covers with them.
  6. Thanks for the can opener link!!!!! :thumbup1: Wacky Packs are always a big hit here plus they remind me of my youth. ;)
  7. Voted! ETA: The first Jade is getting a lot of votes. Vote for the SECOND Jade!
