I think that's why we are having such a hard time, is the extreme of love/hate among purchasers. Does anyone have their sheets/mattress pads? Are they worth the extra $?

Just realized that if I go bigger than our current fridge, that will hamper my pantry size planned for the space by a lot, well 6 inches which is quite a bit of storage

Would you get a smaller (20 cu ft) fridge for the main kitchen if you also had a 2nd 20 cu ft in the basement. Or would you want a bigger one (25-27 cu ft) in the kitchen? I am pretty set on french doors/bottom freezer

Gas or Smooth top Electric? {Had gas, loved it...new house had smooth top electric, dh likes that it is easier to clean} 1 or 2 ovens? Most of the time one would be fine, but sometimes 2 would be nice. Holidays, etc. Any other considerations?

Separate question...how important is it that all the appliances match brand? We bought a dishwasher last year (maytag stainless). I'd for sure go with stainless, but how important is it that the fridge/stove//microwave all match that brand?

My friends adopted a sibling group of 6!

How big? Our current one is 19.7 cu ft and too small. DH was thinking 22 cu ft would work because it had water in the door, so we gain that space from our pitcher not being needed too. What style? Side by Side, French Door, Regular bottom freezer/top fridge Brand preference? Water dispenser? We use a britta pitcher now.

After having kids, and scaling back to one income, we stopped the exchange with our parents and siblings. It had gotten to be an exchange of $20 gift cards, which seemed crazy. My mom had the hardest time with it. We just said put your effort into the kids. None of our siblings are married or have kids. When they do, we will give gifts to the kids. That being said, now we tend to do a smaller homemade gift from the kids which seem to go over well. It gets rid of the sense of obligation and is back into a fun way to appreciate someone. It was too stressful the "mandatory" gift way.

Does such a thing exist? I want to be able to check to see if I own something from my phone.
