  1. Hi folks, We (all the kids) just added to a Travel Log from a third grade class in Marietta, PA. Here is their note: We would like to learn more about geography!! With your help, we will get to learn about different places. Write the date in the travel log. Tell us where you live. Tell us about the area. (cities, people, what the are is like, and what you like about your area) Please Print Send the Travel Log to a friend in a different area. Send the class a postcard explaining that you received the Travel Log from our class. This way we can track where the logs are going. I need someone else to send this to. Anyone want to incorporate this into their "geography" lesson, or just want to share. This log has been to Arizona, Germany, Egypt, Georgia (US), Texas, and now Colorado. PM me your address if you want to add to their log. I'll update this thread with the area the travel log is going to.
  2. Ok, it has been to Arizona, Germany, Egypt, Georgia (US), Texas, and Colorado. PM me with your address if you would like it next!

My poor feet rarely get anything that is comfortable, no wonder I never wear shoes!:grouphug:

  12. I've dreamed about taking my dc on a D.C. field trip for years......this is the year. I was hoping to stay somewhere under $200 a night....so this is what we are doing. http://www.washingtonsuitesalexandria.com/ It is off the beaten path but they have a shuttle that will take you to a metro stop. We are flying into Reagan National and will not have a car. It is a suite so there is a kitchen, also they have continental breakfast. I wanted to be in Crystal City but couldn't find anything for all of us unless I paid $300 +. Our budget won't allow that. Hope you find something......we are so excited to go!
