    :grouphug:I tried SOTW with my dd and she didn't like it all. I thought it was just history but she has enjoyed and listened to other programs(BJU, SL, MFW). We are starting Bigger a week from Monday(our shipment arrives tomorrow:D).

    That sounds encouraging! I have been questioning myself-hysterectomy or NovaSure. Sorry you had such a rough time.

    I have finally broken down and made an appt for the NovaSure procedure in 2 weeks. I talked to my doctor about the procedure back in September but I decided to put it off. For those of you who have had this done, what can I expect(after I get home)? Yes, the doctor explained the procedure but I want to hear from those of you who have been through it.

    I noticed the birds singing one morning this week. I made a comment to dd that we don't usually hear them until spring. I am in NE GA and we are having VERY mild weather(not complaining:)).

    I really believe that only you will know if it is too much for him. I think your plans look fine but just take it day by day. If you need to slow down or discontinue a subject then do so. Also, on days we have therapy I will drop a few subjects and count her therapy as part of school.

    :iagree: I have already been the "bad guy" parent to my 22 yr old dd. She thanks me now. No way would I have ever even considered this. I have a rule that I don't allow my kids go to anything where I don't know the parents.

    Speech charges about $300 per session(1 hr). I haven't seen what insurance is going to write off yet. We were fortunate to have only co-pays last year(not so lucky this year). OT charges about $200 per session(1hr).

    Are you looking to move out of state? I will tell you all of our schools from primary to high school are ranked between 8 and 10 on greatschools.org. We are in a smaller community(the bigger city next to us have schools ranked between 2 and 6).
