  1. Nice avatar pic!

  2. Hi, I see your thread mentioning Graded Lessons In English. You were only using it for diagramming? I have a cd with many old Language Arts texts on it and I printed out GLIE. Do you not like the rest of what is in the book? (I don't mean the technological part of it). I paid for the cd, didn't know it was free online until much later.

  3. Hey Amazing! Just droppin' in to say hi.

  4. There was a lady in our area who lost her border collie in July, high winds, a deer in sight, dog's pen blown open, gate or something, and the dog took off chasing the deer. I don't even know this lady and I've tried...sometimes I think I've seen him, I called her once, but he had disappeared. I hope someone finds your beloved dog and gives him back...:grouphug:

  5. :grouphug:I'm sorry your dog is missing. I hope she is found and returned soon.

  6. Now that I've watched the Great Pumpkin I see where your avatar came from. I thought it was chocolate chips or pumpkin seeds. It's Charlie Brown's messed up ghost costume, right?

  7. I remember your previous difficulties and heartbreak. No advice on difficult teens, even though I've had a few too.:grouphug: Just wanted to say hey.

  8. I really liked your snail reading snail jokes book avatar.

  9. This inquiring mind wants to know...how are you feeling? What worked? What remedies did you try? Hope you're doing better!!!

  10. Your new so-called funny avatar scares me.

  11. Hey, did you make it to your grandmother's funeral? Just checking in.:)

  12. Nice page! I like your contrasting colors!

  13. Thanks. I'll see what I can find.

  14. I wondered if you would be willing to post what you feel a birth kit should contain. A person never knows when help may be far away, birth imminent, and no one but you and your kit to help! I had a kit for my only home birth but it quite escapes me what was in it. Thanks. Could you post that on the helpful herbs group?

  15. Hi! I see you have joined Helpful Herbs and are a midwife too. I'm not a midwife, but I did use two with my last baby. Please feel free to start threads there and share your knowledge of what herbs for pregnancy, birth, post-partum. Gingerh

  16. Great news!!!! Was he your first home birth? I'm so happy for you and your family. Are you into Dr. Christopher's herbs or school?

  17. Still thinking you are an awesome mom. How did you come up with The Amazing Miss Moe? That is cute!

I was just looking at a comment you made somewhere and I decided to check your blogs.

Mmmm....yeah, you're still awesome, and amazing! -- Gingerh

  18. Hi Diane. Have you seen the LDS Community Group?

    Welcome to WTM forums. --

  19. Hi, I posted six photos of some of the cool butterflies at the botanical garden.. hope you get the chance to go.

  20. I added three more photos to my album, butterflies.

Hope you get to take a look. I am new at uploading photos.

  21. That's okay. I'm new to Texas. Haven't been to the beach yet and it's driving me crazy. We could drive 40 minutes to the lowly mountains of Maryland or three hours to the beaches of Maryland. Do you go the beach much? Where would you suggest? We are bummed that the beach tent camping is only in the state parks with NO shower facilities. Thanks for responding the first time.

  22. Hi. Would you happen to live in the Fort Worth area? I'm looking for friendly LDS moms with kids for informal get togethers, field trips, support. I have two other families in my ward who hs. Ginger

  23. I read something you wrote somewhere else (WTM) and thought it was funny.

And now I see you are also LDS perhaps?

I am new to posting and still feel like I am really missing out on some of the stuff I could be doing to get ideas flowing with others, ya know, input, etc. Baby steps I'm still taking...

  24. Hi. Just wanted to intro myself, but not sure of etiquette here.

I'm supposed to know what I'm doing at this point in homeschooling but I guess I'm just glad we haven't thrown the towel in, ya know?

18 years or something. I don't know what the folks are referring to in your posts, but I can imagine.

I don't have too many posts yet either, and I want to be able to sell some stuff eventually, maybe.

There are kids in our school district who do not read as well as our 10 yo dd, and these kids are 13, 14, 15.

But they spend millions on the high school stadiums....
