This is not a recommendation, but just a couple of problems we have had with ours. Our pool is about the same size as yours. We bought a Poolguard alarm a couple of years ago. It seemed to have the best reviews. http://www.poolguard.com/ When we would test it, the alarm never went off as quickly as I thought it should. Also, if it was windy outside, the wind set it off all the time and drove us crazy. I don't know if it was size of our pool, the shape, or the location of the alarm that kept it from working properly. I just wanted you to know that for the price we paid, this alarm has been a major disappointment, and I hope you find something more effective. HTH even though it doesn't provide a good recommendation.:)

I have learned to always order something for the youngest so no one feels left out. We have had tears here for the same reason.:D -
Where can I find a swimsuit for 13 year old dd
Kalypso replied to Only me's topic in General Education Discussion Board
I am going to suggest swimoutlet.com, also. My dd13 is shaped like the way you described your dd. My dd has had good luck in finding suits that fit well at swimoutlet. -
I feel your pain. I struggle with these issues all day, every day. My dh makes me laugh at bedtime when we are trying to get everyone in bed. He will say to the kids, "I know you are new to this, so let me help you. We are going to go to bed every night until we get it right."

Could you take care of your kids alone all day long?
Kalypso replied to Nestof3's topic in General Education Discussion Board
My dh is great with handling the kids without me. He has to be since we have 6. He is also great about loading the 5 older ones up and taking them all out for the day to give me some time to get lesson plans done or to just have some quiet time. He also plans camping trips and takes them all on his own. -
I have always nursed one side at a time and never had any trouble with supply.

Congratulations! Babies are a blessing. I felt like you are feeling about 10 months ago. I was looking at turning 40 and found out I was pregnant with #6. My youngest was 4, and I was dreading having to get up at night again. I had no idea where I was going to find the energy to do it. Now I have a beautiful 2 month old dd that I am so grateful to have. Try to focus on what you love about the little ones. If possible, try to rest as much as you can and don't overschedule activities. Take care of yourself. I hope you start feeling better soon. :grouphug:

We purchased a Yamaha YDP-223 about 2 months ago for $1600. My dd13 loves it and says it feels like a real piano. I wish we would have upgraded a few years sooner. We had owned a cheaper one that had weighted keys, but the weighting did not feel at all like an acoustic piano.

This rant is precisely why we do not watch television in our home. Paying for cable or satellite TV is supporting the horrible commericials.

Is there anything cuter than a newborn baby stretch?
Kalypso replied to Kalypso's topic in General Education Discussion Board
I'm afraid of squeezing her too hard, hence the need for some self control. -

We just watched Zeitgeist - The Addendum, and it, too, had a (different)clip from Network. -
Our little one was born on October 1st, and I can't believe she will be 3 weeks old tomorrow. She has been the easiest newborn I have ever had. Everyone in our house is completely in love with her and beg to hold her all day.

At 38.5 weeks pregnant I should. . .
Kalypso replied to Marie in Oh's topic in General Education Discussion Board
If schooling is going well, keep it up. If not, I would start maternity leave and only do what you feel like doing. As I sit here typing with one hand, while I hold my 2 week old dd, I know it is going to be a while before things settle down into a "normal" schedule. I panic a bit when I think about falling behind in school, but I guess there is always the summer for catching up. I spent my last week just doing a few things I knew would be hard to do with a newborn. -
Have you seen this book list?
