  1. I know. It goes too fast. He is 10 months old.
  2. 🥹 I’ll share a pic from the park today.
  3. No help at all because I insisted. I see the grandma’s in my family almost trying to be mom to the babies and I said to myself NO WAY. My babies are mine and I’m doing it ALL for them. I’m proud to say I did everything for my babies. Dh was always there, but I feel awesome postpartum and didn’t really need any help.
  4. YES! I should have mentioned this. We were at a NP week before Christmas and we got one for dh! btw, I’m not sure I knew you were a veteran? What branch? Thank you for your service!
  5. Thankfully I am well, I just wanted to wish you all a speedy recovery. I also never updated that my parents both recovered from Covid. I realize I never gave an update. My dad is still a bit weak, but improving.
  6. I hear ya.! It has been like us for some years. The best thing is that you benefit even if the hours fall short and you don’t beat yourself up for that.
  7. 2023 was all 3rd trimester pregnant/enjoy the new baby to the fullest/recovering from a knee injury. 2024 is our year!
  8. I had no idea!! I’m into all things my side of the mountain. I had my boys read them and they thought they were ok. They could care less about outdoorsy stuff like their mom. I recommended them to my outdoors loving nephew and he adored them. I know what to get him!! Thanks for the idea!
  9. Same. I think I’m just kind of naive honestly. My bff’s dad was fairly strict and pretty much kept he under his control until adulthood. He pretty much chose her career path. He didn’t let her date. He was fairly controlling. She did have friends, sleepovers, he was not concerned about tv/music and that stuff that my mom was a little more worried about. She was his only and her mother wasn’t much of one. He was the main caretaker. He wasn’t overly a bad guy, Inthink it all came out of love, but it wasn’t always fun for her.
  10. Yikes. There is a lady in my homeschool group that has given me one of their magazines and shared a link to a video on their YouTube channel. It’s wild because she doesn’t come off this way at all, but I imagine she is.
  11. He is singing some song from YouTube. Not sure if it is the same .
  12. Ds age 12 took it upon himself to memorize the names of the elements. He keeps asking me about random elements. Sure I could Google it, but I was wanting to see if there were fun books about the periodic table of elements.
  13. Bwahaha yep. How about a career in corrections? That made my day.
  14. Prison is a good option if you are cut out for that. College is also not needed to promote and it gives you a salary well over average (where I live anyway).
  15. Perfect! Thank you so so much!
  16. Anyone know much about them? With Christmas behind me , it’s time to start planning for my 3 winter birthday kids. My soon to be 11 year old son has been asking for an rc car. I’m looking for a pretty decent one that will hopefully tackle more rough terrain instead of a smooth flat surface. Can I get some brand suggestions? Am I going to be able to get one for $100-ish?
  17. The biggest hit around here was a dart board for my 12 year old. He casually mentioned it last year after I was done shopping. It was something I thought he’d be happy with, BUT the whole family really enjoys it. I am surprised he uses it as much as he has already. We have lots of hits, but this one really surprised me how big of a hit it was.
  18. Oh I know it’s hard . I’m a very practical person too and was taught by mom to keep every gift because it was special because she didn’t grow up receiving very many gifts. I am plain plain plain, I only ever wear solid color shirts. I don’t know why anyone would assume I would want a sweatshirt with Winnie the Pooh in it. Also it’s a pullover and I hate thick pillow shirts while breastfeeding. I like the zip up kind better. Anyway it’s in my closet because I feel obligated. I hate that.
  19. I love this! We worked right up until the last day because we missed a lot of school for pregnancy and baby. Next year we are taking off the week of Thanksgiving and doing all the fun things and not starting back until January some time. lol
  20. Haha YES! I know the pandemic was tough for many, BUT I straight up loved it. I missed my parents, but, it was a great time.
  21. They are almost here! So nervous! I am thankful we are all go somewhere EARLY tomorrow, so we will have to get all the kids to bed early tonight. Just from maybe 2-7 or 8! I can do this. There is no out now. 😂
  22. Never apologize for this! I really appreciate when I know there are others that can relate to me! Thanks so much.
