Today I am ditching most of my duties in and out of the home and going camping.  It is suppose to rain but that is okay.  I seriously need to get away from my surroundings which is military housing on a very busy base.  So we are all going to get up, have breakfast, the teen is going to do some math while the younger two read and then it's loading up the camping gear and then our clothing which I am washing up right now.

Good Morning  :seeya:

This weeks spring break has been wonderful.   I feel renewed and ready to tackle the rest of the school year and begin planning next year.

To accomplish today:

  • deep clean the whole house--vacuum, dust and mop
  • clean all bathrooms and restock
  • wash all bedding and remake beds
  • wash a load of white and dark clothing and iron and put away, towels
  • wipe down kitchen with bleach solution
  • make a menu plan for the next week
  • hit Wal-Mart for a couple of things I need

Have a great day!  :D

Two days until our four day break in Florida

Oodles to do today...

--school

--check my clothes and dd's clothes for the trip (her legs have grown so much I think she'll need new shorts---she's still not yet 5' tall though)

--plant the new perennials (ran out of time yesterday---waited for dh to get home to ask his opinion about placement)

--hem more jeans (I hate that "shorts" are still too long)

--play around with new camera (dh just added that to my list )

--exercise

--friend is coming by at noon to pick up dd19's old highschool uniforms I've been saving for her dd (one of dd14's old classmates)

--haircut appointment at 4

--dd ballet 6:30-8

Good Morning, Ladies!

Melissa, hope your baby feels better soon!

Today, I'm up later because I have a fasting blood test at 8:30 and there's nothing worse than being up at 6:00 and not being able to eat anything or drink my coffee. So, I slept till 7:00.

Nice easy day today....

** school - school on Fridays are generally a bit lighter than usual

** boys have a friend coming by to play this afternoon, hopefully it doesn't rain too hard

** DS has guitar lessons

Have a great day, all!

Good morning! Melissa, I hope Juli will be better soon.

We have a busy day here. Dh dropped ds1 at the airport about 30 minutes ago. He is headed to Europe for 5 weeks! He is excited and we are jealous. School for the rest of the kids. A few tears and sighs, but work is being done. I have a dr appointment this morning, my blood pressure has been creeping up, so back on meds I go. It has been a very stressful year.

Swim meet this evening (and all day tomorrow). And the house needs to be cleaned.

Have a great day!

Back from the lab. Boy, I am glad I made an appt. No paperwork to fill out when I got there and even though the room was full of people, I went next. The last thing I want to do is sit in a tiny lab office with a room full of people, my five antsy kids and have to wait for half an hour. Breakfast tastes so good! So does coffee!

Wasted a bunch of time playing Farm Frenzy - done.   :leaving:

I only now feel like I can start the day because I finally snuck into the bedroom and got my clothes so that I could get dressed.  I feel unproductive without day clothes on!

Tammy sent the rain north to me, so I won't get everything planted today. Oh well :)

I still need to exercise, check my hot weather clothes (jeepers, mid90s next week in Orlando ), and figure out the new camera. Those can all be done tomorrow, if not today.

Now to check on dd's clothes!

Good Rainy Afternoon, All! It's thundering and the hail cannons are.... cannoning.

See, if I make my to-do list after I do the chores, then it seems like I've accomplished all I set out to do!

** school - done!

** lab work - done! I do hope I have a thyroid problem and this weight gain and inability to lose weight even though I diet is not just something I have to live with.

** boys' friend is over, but we'll be leaving soon

** ds's guitar lessons in 15 minutes

** finish ordering curriculum - done

** dh got paid today, finish budget work - done

** pay bills - done
