StaceyinLA Posted February 5, 2013 Share Posted February 5, 2013 We fly out tomorrow - taking dd and the grandkids to meet up with her husband at their new post. Flying isn't my favorite, and we will be having a layover with the kiddos. I'd appreciate prayers for safety, and for my nerves, as well as peace as I help them get settled in and then have to leave my precious grandbabies after being with them every day. I'm thankful I have had the time with them that I've had, and I will be glad for them to be a family again, but it sure will be bittersweet to catch that flight home. We hold hands during these times and say a prayer asking God to take away our fears and to allow the pilot to safely get us to our destination. It definitely helps. Philippians 4:6-7 Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.
