Extra tall Christmas trees?

lol.  When you said extra tall, I was thinking >15'.

costco sells 12' trees.  I used to have an 11' tree (I miss it on occasion.  I do NOT miss parking two 8' ladders on either side and climbing up and down them!)
we downsized to a 9', and I think the tree we bought last year was an 8' . . .

if we do a live tree this year . . . and cut one of our nobels - we'll be back to an 11' or more tree.

My dad and stepmom have a tree that tall.

Let's just say that one year the tree was still up on July 4.

It's a big deal to put up and a big deal to take down. Like a whole day process. So if you like that kind of thing, sure go for it... but it is a lot.

ETA: I just reread, My dad's tree is 15 ft. I don't think a 9 footer would be too horrendous.
