I’m just saying I need name and address of coffee shop at some point!

Not so much the cheese themed park. LOL

ETA: of all the things. This picture started an argument between Dh and I  😆🙄🤨

An argument? Who doesn't want a coffee with attitude?

Ediya Coffee in Hapjeong.

It's quite possible that the barista boy thought he was making a cute coffee for my daughter. She's charming people left right and centre here.

Ah.  The charm of youth.  It’s wasted on young people. 💕

There are coffee shops everywhere. We are in a residential area, and there would be at least a dozen within a 5 min walk. No exaggeration.

Ediya is a chain, and they do nice big mugs. I'll try to find you the exact address of that one. Hapjeong would have multiple Ediyas.

I found a bunch of them on TripAdvisor and added them to my South Korea list.

No lie, I’m a huge coffee addict and my understanding is that makes South Korea the perfect vacay for me bc it’s a people of coffee addicts.

And there's a cafe culture where you buy one thing and sit for hours. People sit there working and studying for literally hours. They have charging ports at the tables, so they are clearly encouraging you to settle in and get comfy.

The menus are pretty amazing at the coffee shops too. I'll try to remember to get a photo for you.

Those prices are cheaper than Oklahoma too if the most expensive thing on the menu is approx $4.50. Nice bonus!

Yes, it's quite comparable to Australia too.

Fruit and veg though, wowsers it's expensive!

These grapes are about $22AU. I saw punnets of strawberries for over $20 too. 😮

We shop at a big E-mart. It's possible that fresh markets might be cheaper, but we haven't come across any yet.

I hear tell their grapes are different than here (thicker and more bitter) and that’s why most their remove the skin to eat them?

Are they from Japan? Those are expensive at my local Japanese and Korean supermarkets as well.

We haven't tried them, so I really don't know. Too expensive!

I saw a small punnet (15 grapes - I counted 😄) for $7 yesterday. And you tell me they are bitter and they require effort? 😄

Wow, really? What sort of things?

I can't remember what I was reading, it was ages ago, but probably something like this old article from 2017:
https://www.ausbushfoods.com/index.php/news1/126-native-bush-food-demand-outstripping-supply

You know, the foodstuffs the occasional ABC Life article tells us we should be buying, but we obviously can't because the industry isn't big enough to supply Coles and Woolies. *eyeroll*
