We just started taking Health’s Harmony brand black seed oil capsules. Supposedly good for Covid as it does not let virus replicate. I am also taking to naturally lower blood pressure. Studies are promising. I believe it takes a month or two to see results. Really hoping it helps bc I hate taking prescription medications.

I take a teaspoon of the oil every morning. It doesn't taste good (aromatic like turpentine, with a bit of a kick), but I follow it with a strong spiced tea, so it doesn't matter.  I take it because, like holy basil (tulsi), its an adaptogen that boosts the immune system.  It was recommended to me by my oncologist a long, long time ago, but I didn't start taking it until the pandemic.  I knew my immune system would be stressed, so I started taking it.

I buy the seeds from my local indian grocery store (they are sometimes mistranslated as "onion seeds", but the indian term is Kalonji). Organic kalonji seeds (nigella sativa) are also available on amazon. I add it to any of the flat breads that I make. It is also added frequently during tempering of curries (a process similar to infusing flavors of spices into hot oils).
