TravelingChris
It was really fun meeting Amy on Monday. Yesterday was the drive home, and we did stop and go to an antique mall place in Adairsville, a really pretty historic town, where we also had a nice chat w/ the bakery lady where we went to get coffee. But while I found my missing password book in the car, I misplaced one of my hearing aids last night. We had dinner at my dd1 and dsil's house and then went to Kroger's to try and hunt down my Iced Mochas I want. Those are the two places, plus my car and purse where the hearing aid could be' Check IRS once again Check Mayo Clinic Check Tricare Supplement Check FSA account Betterhelp Counseling Quarantine Book Club Go to base and fill my prescription and gas up and ??? SKL
The kids got to school early today, yay! And my pup is being a good boy so far. And the other adults are pretty much leaving me alone. Maybe I'll get some work done today! The kids have band after school, and one kid has a health appointment after that. Not sure what else I want to accomplish (besides the usual baseline stuff). We won't do TKD because 2 hours of marching band are enough with kid1's sprained ankle.

Harriet Vane
Good morning folks! I've already been to the doctor for a blood draw for my yearly physical, and I've been to the grocery store for some alternative flours. Being gluten free is a never-ending voyage of discovery, lol. Today there's the regular stuff and then there's the prep for tomorrow stuff. I am helping someone with a medical appointment--I've got to pack up some supplies and vacuum the car. I am also making them some masks today. Other than that, I need to work through a few things: --Throw together a gluten free flour mix. I would like to see if I can make bread that is better than the weird, stiff stuff at the store. --Spackle some nail holes. --Mark a student essay. --Get my next work project ramped up. Also need to send them an invoice. --Finish the laundry. --Give my untidy house some attention.

ScoutTN
Ate lunch and made one for Dh. Did a huge pile of AHG things. One left to go. Pot roast is in the oven, but a bit late. Dh and Ds won't be home til late to eat anyway. Got out veggies for tonight and cleaned the microwave. Added to the grocery list and considered my pantry and freezer for upcoming meals - need some easy ones. Moved the laundry - need to make the bed now I realized about an hour ago that since Ds has today off from school, Dh picked up the milk, and piano lessons are virtual, I do not have to GO anywhere today. Lovely! Resisting the urge to run errands and just doing at-home things. Esp some prep cooking and meal planning.
SKL
My puppy has been so good all day, I have no excuse to lock him up so I can use the bathroom. LOL!
ScoutTN
Prepped the veggies for dinner. Cleaned most of the fridge! Didn’t get to the crisper/veg drawers, but everything else is sparkling. Realized that I need to do some prep tonight for new tutoring students tomorrow. First sessions virtual are always hard. So much nicer to meet in person, but distance and covid precautions prevent. Opened and put away Amazon stuff. Made the bed. Had a snack since dinner will be late.
math teacher
Well, I've been placed in quarantine again. I coughed a lot at work yesterday, so I went and was tested. Rapid test showed negative, but I am to quarantine until PCP comes back negative as well. As it turns out, I can only squeak, not talk, so I guess it's for the best. I know it's late, but my plans for the rest of the day are: Lesson plans turned in (waiting on Social Studies) Grade some papers Put some stuff on google classroom Laundry

math teacher
October of last year. Not sure when my vax was, but it's been awhile. I have students who are either positive or been exposed, and many teachers out at my school.
mom31257
@TravelingChris, hi, again! 😀 I hope you find some cleaning help soon! @math teacher, I'm so sorry! Praying for a negative test! My classes went well, and I had time to squeeze in an extra session with the 2 boys. I'm hoping it cleared some stuff up for them. I was super tired because I didn't sleep the best last night, so I took a nap. We've had dinner, and we're going for a walk in a bit. The kitchen is tidied and the dishwasher is going. I've forgot I need to do some PSAT questions and problems to get ready for in the morning, so I'll do that tonight.
TravelingChris
I went and got my prescriptions fine. I did talk with Tricare Supplement people and the hospital hasn't billed either me for the $1500 nor the Tricare Supplement. They are going to send me a copy of everyone they have paid this year tonight and tomorrow I have to start calling. I did call the hospital business office today and they didn't call me back. Now I remember that back in late March or early April, before I had my giant autoimmune flare where I couldn't do complicated tasks like coordinate all the insurance, bills, services,. etc,, I had called them also and left message for them to call me and they never did. I think I will have to go to the office in person--probably tomorrow. I hate all this incompetence. I am also awaiting my so-called secret Tricare bills that they will not let me see on the internet because of their stupidity-- my lupus is not a sensitive diagnosis anymore than my rheumatoid arthritis. Not sure which one of my rheumatological disorders they consider 'sensitive' but it is truly insane --I will tell anyone of my autoimmune disorders who wants to learn more about them. Also called Mayo clinic and have no idea if my neurologist sent anything because a) for some bizarre reason. they forwarded my call to Jacksonville when the specialist I am supposed to see is in Arizona and b) the guy in Jacksonville said they may have it in AZ but haven't gotten it in the system yet. However, it is the clerical staff at my neurologist;s office that is often incompetent. He told me to call the Neurology Dept at Scottsdale and I guess I will do that tomorrow. I did make meatloaf and a cucumber/carrot/tomato salad for dinner while having my counseling session. Still need to schedule next week's counseling session and also do a INR blood test. Then relax- hopefully.

SKL
Howdie! We succeeded in getting kid's bloodwork ordered. She was so traumatized by having to talk about her troubles that she demanded Jolly Ranchers after! I tried to take a nap once the girls were both here to do pup duty. Pup barked too much. But I did get to lie down until time to take him to bed. Then someone needed help with chemistry homework. Why can't we have a damn textbook so I can see what the hell they are supposed to be learning? Or if we must do it on the Chromebook, can they at least not shade it in gray? Who decides these things?? And last but not least (so far), I was asked to do laundry for tomorrow morning. Not sure why this can't happen earlier in the day. Sigh. Tomorrow's going to be a long day. I hope I get good sleep tonight.

Invoiced work and moved laundry along. Awesome. But there's no awesome gf bread, my nail holes are unspackled, and my poor student will have to get his feedback tomorrow. And don't get me started on the untidy house. We keep moving forward, inch by inch.
