This particular child is not especially self-motivated, and I do not think she would do well in a self-study program. She needs outside accountability. She has taken two years of Latin in middle school, but would like to swtich to French in high school. So far I have looked at the classes on AIM Academy, TWTM, and TPS. She’s warm and creates a fun, safe learning environment. It’s hard to compare elementary vs. high school classes, but we will move on to her middle school French class next year. My niece has taken classes with Sally Barstow at AIM Academy for a few years and LOVES her.
