raristy
Has anyone seen the TI-84 Plus CE Graphing Calculator on sale? I need to purchase one for my son. A few years ago, I had to buy one for my daughter and I benefited from seeing a post that it was on sale from someone in our forum. Thank you!

MarkT
Hopefully the sales are still on - I think Target had it on sale - look for $90 or less sale price update not looking good for online purchase $119.99 at Walmart.com (sold by Office Depot) - Amazon was higher the B&M Walmart or Target stores may have them at the back to school price depending on where you live our high school students are ALL back to school here but back-to-school seasonal area still there in store - picked up some notebooks for DS' college classes Stapleshttps://www.staples.com/ti+84+plus+ce+graphing+calculator/directory_ti+84+plus+ce+graphing+calculator $124.99 for all colors - Walmart charged more for colors Staples emails me discount coupons all the time so maybe sign up for their program they closed the B&M stores here so I don't shop there much anymore I just looked - coupon excludes graphing & scientific calculators - what a scam they do have a good price on TI-Nspire CX Graphing Calculator for $119.99 (much different interface so not recommended in this case) Item #: 321965 | Model #: TINspireCX https://www.staples.com/Graphing-Calculators/cat_CL90003 ebay for used etc - they are pretty durable https://www.ebay.com/b/Calculators/9972/bn_1643100 Edited August 10, 2018 by MarkT added info

Sneezyone
I got one for $89 at Staples last week. The sale ended on 8/6 tho. If you have a Staples reward card and spend $50 on school supplies they'll give you a $20 coupon that you can use to purchase the calculator tho. Arcadia
Check your Staples weekly ad. I have the weekly ad saying $89.99 for the Texas Instruments™ TI-84 Plus CE graphing calculator on the second page, and an in store coupon of $10 off $50 for school supplies on tne first page. When the weekly ad was set to Massachusetts on my ipad (for unknown reasons it defaults there), the weekly ad has the same items and price http://weeklyad.staples.com/StaplesSD/WeeklyAd?storeid=2278492&adref=stapleshpc3#!/store/2278853/promotion

Lanny
OP I bought one of those, several years ago. I wasted a lot of time, on Amazon Prime Day, hoping they would put it on sale. If they did, it wasn't on sale whenever I looked on Amazon. However, 1 or 2 weeks later, Amazon did put it on sale and we bought it from them. I had signed up for a free 30 day trial of Prime, before Prime Day, so they shipped it quickly. NOTE: I believe that was among the first units sold in the USA. The OEM battery died, as I recall, before it was one year old. We were not "happy campers"... On eBay, I bought a replacement (not an OEM battery) from a company in NYC that sells used and Refurbished TI Calculators. It has been running perfectly, on that battery, for several years. ? Also, I bought the "Dummies" book for the TI-84 series Calculator for DD when I bought the Calculator from Amazon. She thought that was a waste of money when I gave it to her, but once or twice she told me the book really came in handy. Those calculators are a little weird in how one operates them, but they are THE standard in U.S. schools. One time, I think this was about 2 or 3 years ago, something happened and the callculator wasn't working properly or at all. I got the latest Firmware from the TI web site and I installed that into the Calculator and it has been fine since then.
