  6. Angela Harris (former Bravewriter teacher) is offering a lit and writing class that looks interesting for one of my children. Did any of your students ever have her as a Bravewriter teacher? Any input on her teaching style, feedback on student's writing, how you and your child enjoyed it, how much they learned, etc would be greatly appreciated. Thanks ?
  7. Thanks a lot for the tips. My husband is going to Staples today ?. Thank you, thank you. You all are always amazing. Love our forum.
  8. Has anyone seen the TI-84 Plus CE Graphing Calculator on sale? I need to purchase one for my son. A few years ago, I had to buy one for my daughter and I benefited from seeing a post that it was on sale from someone in our forum. Thank you!
  9. I feel for you. I think it was very wise of you to call your credit card. Sebastian’s suggestions are wonderful. I would also contact my local police. I would even call the credit bureaus (Equifax, etc) Hope and believe all will work out. Hang in there.
  10. This one too. Also of the Easy Grammar family: https://www.easygrammar.com/easy-grammar-plus.html I believe the Teacher's version is enough. There is even an ebook that can easily be printed.
  11. My niece is pursuing a bachelors in business administration and wants to do an internship this summer. She attends a small school and not many career counseling resources. Any ideas on where she could find internship opportunities for undergrads? Please let me know. Thanks much!
  12. How does a student enters? I tried following the instructions to become familiar for when my child is old enough to enter and contacted the person in our city never heard back. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!
  13. In another forum someone commented this, "My kids have just finished Randee Batty’s class, “Research and Composition†at Lukeion.org. I was blown away by the improvement in my son’s writing thanks to this course. Mrs Batty provides the best constructive criticism we’ve come across and it worked. My son went from being a disorganized writer who paid no attention to grammar, to an excellent one who structured his thoughts well and became a grammar nazi." She kindly gave me permission to share her comments here. RootAnn, is this the class you wanted to learn more about?? Hope this helps :)
  14. I am thinking of enrolling my child in Bravewriter's "Writer's Jungle." Any particular instructors you and your students have loved and learned a lot from? Please let me know. Thanks :)
