I’ll start a list and come back, because I’m sure I’ll need to keep updating my list as I come out of my morning fog. ✅Pick beans and cucumbers, check on the cantaloupe. ✅ Weed and deadhead one of two front flowerbeds. Flower arrangement. ✳️Chores with kids ✅ Make hamburger/sandwich buns ✳️Renew drivers license ✳️Make a meal for the new neighbors moving in ✳️catch the guy down the street to see if we can organize a workday to remove his fallen tree from the March storm. ✳️Homeschool planning We have nowhere to go today!! Pink and Green Mom
Thank you for starting this thread, Selkie! Can I please get some prayers and/or good thoughts for my DH today? He was mergered out of his job this past November and it has been real slow going finding a new job. He is starting to get very down. He has an interview today at a local company. There isn't much in his field around here and this is huge because it means not having to uproot a high school junior (or worse, splitting the family up until DS17 graduates). -coffee-sit with DS13 while he does his Spanish for the day -workout -shower -take DS13 to friends and figure out something to kill the time (friend lives an hour away so I can't come home) -laundry -dinner (Italian pork chops, rice, vegetable) Edited August 7, 2018 by Pink and Green Mom 2

SKL
Well, it's noon here and I finally got to the tackle thread. ? Set about 6 alarms, finally got up about 6:45. Sent out a couple work deliverables. Packed lunches. Coffee! Kids ready & driven to camp. One minute late due to kids putzing and forgetting stuff. I have to decide on a consequence kuz this is getting old. Cleaned kitchen. Looked over some AHG badge requirements to see about progress / next steps for a few. Social media / emails etc. A little more work done. To do: Many work reports - I keep saying that! Need to finish the school enrollment stuff. Filing, bills .... A little reading. Yoga? Pick kids up and drive them to activities: horse riding & gymnastics. Take a walk during their activities. Grocery stop. Feed the kids something. Go over AHG badge stuff with eldest. She needs to make some choices and get to work on them. Encourage eldest to do another load of laundry as part of her badge work. Vision therapy for eldest. Kids need to switch out pet bedding. Take out garbage. Read-aloud(s) and some math stuff. Kids to bed. Work. Whatever I'm forgetting.
Jean in Newcastle
Hi everyone. We had an uncharacteristically bad air bnb that had NO PHONE or INTERNET service at all. So I couldn’t start the thread. We hiked at Bryce Canyon today on our way to SLC. Today we found out that our Bailey bunny had a stroke or heart attack yesterday and died. We are very sad. All the other animals are doing fine.
