Elizabeth86
When our family plays outside in the evening our legs start itching from some kind of bug. Doesnt seem to be mosquitos because they leave big bites and itchiness on us. After we go in and have a bath the itching stops and there arent many bites you can see, maybe a few small red dots. Someone I talked to mentioned sand fleas, but I dont know anything about them. What could it be and how do you repell then?
StephanieZ
What kind of environment are you in? Beach? Woods?
Cinder
No-see-ums? Those things love me. The bites are tiny, itch for a bit, but don't usually last as long as mosquito bites IME.

foxbridgeacademy
I'd also say no-see-ums but maybe chiggers. No see ums would be in grass or maybe woods. For me I only had a problem with chiggers if I sat in one place too long.
goldberry
Chigger bites don't STOP itching in my experience. They torture you for days.
Lady Florida.
My guess would be no see ums. Goldberry is right about chigger bites. They itch unbearably for days.

mmasc
Agreeing that is isn't chiggers! Those bites itch (rather intensely) for days. My vote is for no see ums too.
