Faithr Posted May 4, 2016 Share Posted May 4, 2016 Tidy up workmen here at 8:30 to do some prelimary stuff Breakfast school Latin Kids work on history paper 17 yo works on chemistry married dd needed someone to walk her dog in the early afternoon - so 14yo and I will while on the way to her voice lesson Latin prep piano lesson for 17 yo Pizza for dinner 14 yo got into the community theater summer production of Oliver. [done] Take out the garbage. [done] Pet care. [done] Clean kitchen, bathrooms, and some clutter. [done] Work. Laundry. Iron / sew on kids' scout badges and stuff. Sew nasty ripped pocket on my coat. Some reading? Some exercise? Kids' work. Kids to chiropractor. Kids to sports program. Figure out dinner. More kids' work. Read-aloud. Kids to bed. LisaKinVA Posted May 4, 2016 Share Posted May 4, 2016 Laundry...a lot of it. Have to run my dryer for hours today, as the damp, cool, dreary weather has not allowed my laundry to hang dry properly. (I have 5 large loads) Washing more laundry (towels, jeans, darks, lights, more towels), in an attempt to get to blankets and winter coats (which are all single loads) tomorrow. School Meeting with Landlord Finish final tidying of the main floor, so we can get to the actual deep cleaning (this weekend) More work in the basement (cleaning closet, dh's office -- he's doing that one). We are really trying to get the whole house ready for a big house party on the 13th. We also have to do prep work for the party food, so I don't want to leave the cleaning until the last minute. My house is finally getting back in order after the crazy months of fundraising, swimming travel, and holidays. We have house parties planned for June, July and August, so hopefully we can keep up with everything. Definitely nice today! School - just the basics Pick up milk Take CSA veggies to my mom Bank deposit Dd to dance - last class of the year Walk the dog during Dd's lesson Nope. We had a major downpour during that hour. Of course the sun came out right afterwards! Church for dinner and children's choir party I desperately need to do deskwork, but zero time today. Tomorrow morning, for sure. When my people-loving boy curls up on the sofa and won't play at a kite flying party, I know he is sick. Sure enough, fever of 102.8. Ugh! :sad: Got him bathed, dosed with tylenol and he was asleep in 5 minutes. Weird, he was fine and then all of a sudden he wasn't. FT and piano lesson cancelled for tomorrow.
