Laura in VA
Isn't it sad that the best writing often comes from pain???? :D

Soph the vet
Unlike the zephyrImpolite wind brings no joy. Even the dog leaves. Profound! I am more of a limerick girl: There once was a goat named Marie Who sang as loud as can be She sung and she sung Until they cut out her tongue Now she's in the glue factory! ( I penned that ditty at the age of 10 and still remember it)

Doran
Improvement today? Sleeping on the bathroom floor Cannot be much fun ;) Pam, have you ever seen this product? I would have figured it a total hoax if an elderly woman friend of mine hadn't recommended it. Her husband developed lactose intolerance after a serious bacterial infection. As an older man (late 70's), it was a very difficult change for them both. After hearing about this stuff on the Today show (I think), she gave it a whirl and says the man is CURED! laylamcb
 OMG--I bow to all you poets! Those were, to quote my kids, AWESOME!! I'm more of a technical writer myself. I can write a mean research paper on lactose intolerance, but a haiku? :001_huh: No can do.

Chris in VA
This was actually true in my dearly departed brother's marriage: For Mark--A Haiku Rule One for marriage; Should zephyr winds blow at night, don't fluff the covers. I think we have a new codeword on the boards--"zephyr winds!"
