The last paragraph is particularly interesting to me... that Phelps may have softened at the end of his life, but the leadership of his church was out of his hands. I assume that someday there will be an expose about the film director who seems to have been converted awfully quickly, and now apparently runs the whole show. That will be interesting indeed.
