AWSOME DAY!

Had angel flight. Trip to Melbourne was just over an hour, met on runway be ground angel who dropped me off a Royal Children Hospital. Immediately in for twin one to get his full leg casts. picked up straight away by another earth angel and taken to my return angel flight home. Trip home took only 45 minutes. When I do this trip using public transport it is 7 hours each way.

Specialists put some sort of special plaster on that we can unravel at home so we can fit into the timeslot for another angel flight next week.

While I was doing all this flying around the countryside, the housecleaner came so I came home to a spotless house. :hurray:

Twin 2 did not have a single meltdown being separated from his brother, the opposite of what we were expecting, and twin one doesn't appear to be displaying any traces of trauma with having his legs completely immobile.

Angel flights is a great charity. The pilots donate their time and aircraft, the Angel flight charity pays for the fuel and the government waves the airport landing fees. The pilot told me he loves doing angel flights as it gives him a purpose for flying  and as pilots have to fly a specific amount of time each year it is great for retired pilots.

I'm will lying in bed snuggling my 9 month old while listening to the other kids read to dh while he makes breakfast. Perfect way to start the day. The kids did awesome on their belt tests so dd gets her next belt and ds moves up to the kids program. He's officially not super little anymore.

- stretch!

- school

- continue cleaning downstairs

- practice kung fu

- park with kids

- start compiling list of freezer meals that are whole30 compliant

- read for an hour

- I'm sure there is plenty more to do

Still fussing with my computer issues.  I did manage to get all the software loaded (except for the advanced Adobe, which is not an emergency).  But transferring my calendar, files, and email history from my old computer isn't as simple as it may sound.  Especially with the old computer shutting off a hundred times during the backup process.  I end up with 3 copies of some files and no copies of others.  I will probably end up copying them in sections vs. trying to backup and restore.  Also, my new computer won't let me delete or move emails.  I can go into the old computer and delete them and it takes effect in the new computer.  Not the most efficient setup.  Obviously I need to find a fix for that soon.  Meanwhile I am trying to get ahead on my regular work.

Today we are supposed to receive our new kitchen table and chairs.  I assume it will be in boxes and we'll have to plan how to put them together.  I enjoy putting furniture together myself, but not so much as a team effort with folks who aren't good at it.  :P

Today's list:

  • Work until 4am.  [done]
  • Kids up at 7am & out to school.  [done]
  • Clean kitchen and some clutter.  [done]
  • Work.
  • A little reading.
  • A little stretching.
  • Receive furniture.
  • Those overdue greeting cards already.
  • Work.
  • Kids' work.
  • Stop at bank.
  • Family TKD.  Maybe kids' fun swim so they can take a shower at the rec.
  • Dinner.
  • More kids' work, kids to bed.
  • Work.

Good Evening...I survived today.

I walked twice today.  2 miles the first time and 1 1/2 miles the second time.

Took Ella Bella to groomers and picked her up.

Cleaned house...cleaned hard wood floors.

School work done.

Trash cans in and yard tidy and clean.

All laundry done and put away.

Whew...I'm tired! :)
