We visited the Missouri Botanical Garden yesterday, and the Sacred Lotus flowers are blooming. They are so very beautiful...I could have just looked at them all day! I assume it is sacred to Buddhists? I'm really not sure. I just know the sign at the garden identified them as sacred. There were some yellow lotus flowers mixed in with the sacred lotus, and looking at them, you could tell they weren't the same at all, but I didn't really stop to think about it.
