funeral etiquette Q

If you attend a funeral where there is a service with a celebrant, and immediately after, a small reception on site, with finger food & coffee/tea.....

would you still expect the family to congregate at a home & be open to guests (ie a small 2nd reception?).

In this case 2 siblings (+ spouses & kids) are, after the reception at the funeral home, taking the widow to one of their homes for a tea, & possibly a light supper to let her unwind before going home. What are the odds that the other extended family members will want to come to this event too?
