We don't own them so we don't use them currently, but I think that we might start testing for the next book. Do you test because the authors says to test or is it helpful to your kids? pocjets Posted March 2, 2015 Share Posted March 2, 2015 I do use them. My daughter likes test day the best because they are shorter than a normal lesson. :) I do also think they are helpful. Reefgazer Posted March 3, 2015 Share Posted March 3, 2015 I use them as Saxon recommends, because I do not feel capable of adequately evaluating whether or not my kids are learning the math they need to learn. I would feel uncertain if I didn't, even though the material is always spiraling. The test have ended up showing up some interesting stuff that the daily work hasn't shown me so I really appreciate them quite a bit.
